PLANNING BEFORE 2017

Planning can be a hassle. I used to get stressed out because I didn’t have a schedule to follow. One day I was like screw it I’m not going to let my stress get ahold of me. So I got out pencil and paper and made a list of what I needed in order to solve the problem. I went to Target and basically just bought the whole store in one sitting and began the planning journey called life. I got all these adorable & fashionable planning tools from Target! Target is definitely my top choice for office and school supplies. My motto with office supplies is to make it simple, clean and neat. Planning can be dreadful but if you have cute supplies then planning will go by a lot faster and be so much more fun! Also, incorporate your style into it! If your style is boho maybe add some feathers and fun prints? And if your style is girly maybe add a touch of ruffles and lace? Lately I’ve been obsessed with metallic colors. They have been in for while now but thankfully they are because they are so cute! Metallic colors make your inexpensive things look more polished and expensive. I love adding in some Polaroids and favorite quotes to make it more personalized. While you’re planning make sure you’re cozy and comfortable. If you want to see my cozy corner click here

How To Get Started

Basically I just made a list of what I thought I needed and got supplies. Next I cleaned up a little bit so I could focus easier and got into my cozy corner. After that I got out the month white board and put the MOST IMPORTANT dates on it but with little detail. I took my handy dandy planner out and wrote out EVERYTHING! Personally I don’t like to use my iPhone calendar because it looks way too cluttered for my taste. Usually if I’m in a rush I put the dates in my notes on my phone. When I get home I IMMIDEDATLY put the info I got in my planner. The two chalkboards are used for my TO DO LIST for homework or my portfolio (for fashion school). The four cork boards are used for simple notes I need to do that day or just for style. Have fun planning!
