Before & After: China Cabinet

Hi ya lovelies! It’s been a quick minute. I’m finally out for school and now I’m going to post three times a week on Tuesday,Thursday, and Saturday! I have some special news! Every other Monday is going to make you smile and hopefully laugh a bit 😉 So look forward to new & fun projects!

I can’t wait to show you guys this super easy way to restyle a piece of furniture! Before I restyled this drab china set cabinet, I had a few questions on how will this fit into the style of my room. I looked around my room and found what colors stood out. I have a lot of blues, purples, and reds in my bedroom. I knew I wanted to go for a pastel look. I pulled up some inspo on pinterest and then headed out to my local home depot. I looked through the color samples (btw they are free so take as many as you want ). I picked out the color called ‘Mint to Be’! Always make sure your color has a cute name ;). If your piece of furniture is dark be sure to get yourself a primer.

Step #1

Make sure your furniture is clean and dusted off. Either use a sander or some type of sand paper all over to make sure the primer will stick.

Step #2

Use a paintbrush to apply primer.

Step #3

Paint 2 coats of your desired color. Wait for it to dry & use sand paper to scuff it up a bit to give the vibe of relaxed & worn into. Add some cool knobs.

Step #4

Have fun decorating!
