My Travel Essentials

Hi ya lovelies! I hope you are doing awesome! By the time you read this i will already be in Cali. I have a few *cough cough* a lot of essentials to keep me sane during travels. If you guys want a full in depth travel packing guide, just comment down below!

So the first thing I absolutely need is a hat, any hat. I usually bring a big floppy hat & a regular baseball hat. If you’re out and about it’s so easy to just put your hair in braids or a pony tail & top it off with a hat. I love how you can dress up or dress down big floppy hat.

Sundresses!!!!! I love sundresses. These super cute dresses are crazy lightweight & perfect for traveling. I don’t know about you, but it’s so much easier to put on a dress than a top and a bottom. Sundresses look so adorable with floppy hats & some strappy sandals.

The next thing I bring for the plane ride is a sketch pad. I love sketching, but if you don’t like drawing bring a coloring book or a crossword puzzle. Put in some headphones a start doodling away!

One of my favorite essential is high waisted swimsuit bottoms! They are definitely making a comeback. I’m obsessed with this swim suit I got from Dillard’s. I also have a black pair so I can change out different tops!

I saved the best..and the longest for last. What makeup I bring basically every time I travel. Let’s start off with primer. If you have dry & sensitive skin the First Aid Beauty ‘Coconut Skin Smoothie Priming Moisturizer’ is perfect for you. It is a little pricey but it’s totally worth it. I used to use the ‘Born This Way’ foundation by Too Faced, but I switched to ‘Touch’ foundation by Younique… & I LOVE it! Its amazing, its super light weight & stays on all day. The next product is the matching Younique ‘Touch’ concealer but if you don’t want to get that, I also use the NYX ‘Gotcha Covered Concealer’. I love NYX products! For setting powder I use ‘ Studio Finishing Powder’ from NYX. It’s awesome for setting, baking, and keeping your makeup on everyday. For Contouring & Highlighting I use the ‘Hoolu Bronzer’ from Benefit. They have a travel size one for only 15$. My Highlighter is definitely a must, I use the ‘Mineralize SkinFinish’ from Mac in the shade ‘Soft & Gentle’. My blush is the ‘Rockateur Blush’ By Benefit. My Favorite palette to bring on vacation is the ‘Naked Basics’ From Urban Decay. All of the shades are super blendable & very subtle. My new favorite lip balm is ‘Minted Rose Lip Balm’ by Smith’s. It has a light sheer reddish pink tint to it. I will link everything down below 🙂
